What you eat and how much you eat can have an effect on how quickly you conceive. Food and fertility are linked – ther more balanced your diet the more chance you have of conceiving a healthy baby.

Try to reach your ideal body weight, being over or under weight can affect your ability to get pregnant. If you are overweight eat healthily and remeber to exercise. If you are underweight, try to increase your intake of healthy food.

Take folic acid – Vitamin b is linked to reducing instances of Spinabifida in newborns but can also help combat heart attacks, strokes, cancer and diabetes.

Cut back on alcohol and caffine. Both of these can affect your chances of conceiving and can also have an effect on the development of your baby.
