The 1st 3 months of Pregancy

In the first three months (first trimester) of any pregnancy it is very common for a woman to feel really tired. A pregnant woman in this position should let herself rest. We are always so busy and feel pressure to get certain things done, some of us feel we must get things done and leaving them is not OK. During a pregnancy it is OK, in fact a pregnant woman should rest when feeling tired, after all it is the bodies’ way of saying slow down. Relaxing can be hard for a woman who already has children or a demanding full time job but in this position she should take rest whenever she can. Committing to having early nights and using aides such aromatherapy oils to relax should help. It is also a good thing to ask for help and do not be afraid to accept help that is offered. Headaches and nausea are very common in the first trimester as well. Again aromatherapy oils can help with this, so too can using ginger in tea and foods. Although pregnant women are allowed to take paracetamol in small doses while pregnant a lot of women choose not to. The use of aromatherapy oils are particularly useful for this kind of pregnant woman. Seeking the advice of a specialist on the subject of oils is important. As with anything during pregnancy you must first find out if it is permitted. Some oils and herbs are strong and it is advised you should not use them. On the other hand there are plenty of oils that will do you the world of good it is just about finding out which ones are allowed.
